The weather was nice and luckliy the place wasn't crowded.
In my bag that day:
- Nikon D3S, 70-300mm f/3.5-5.6 VR
- Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III, 24-70mm 2.8
I learned a few things during the day, fighting off backlight and tons of reflexes. A couple of graduated ND-filters would have made things easier but I kept trying until I got it right. The D3S:s DX-mode became very useful when I shot the sailboat because it crops the sensor, thus increasing the focal length by 1,5x.
