Shooting people mingling is fun but it there's quite a bit of luck involved. This time around the weather was okay with clouds coming in and out and no rain.
When I'm not sure what's going to happen, I always bring two camera bodies. This time I brought a 5D Mark II with a 24-70mm f/2.8 and a 1Ds Mark III with a 70-200mm f/2.8. The image stabilization in the latter is phenomenal and I don't have to think twice before racking it out all the way to 200mm at ridiculously slow shutter speeds.
Settings for the day:
- Aperture priority
- ISO 400-800
- Constantly changing the exposure compensation
Since I don't know anyone in the images, feel free to share the post in case you do. Another post from graduation day will be along shortly.
